as i said before, when i put the clutch in suddenly, there is thumping coming from under the car, like something is loose. my first thought was the drive shaft, but now it sounds like its coming from too far up to be the shaft.

could it be the linkage? my gear shift does feel too loose. im finally going to put it on some ramps this weekend and check it out.

generally if the noise is when the clutch pedal is in. its probably a hydraulic issue like clutch master or clutch slave. could also be something with the clutch itself

It could be either a loose transmission or motor mount.
