Yhea my jspec came with a lite steel flywheel to, like 9.5lbs. just like yours reves fast, I love it. very streatable with stock clutch.

I didnt think they have gotten steel flywheels down to 9.5#s,then I seen that drilled monster on Ebay, lol

mine is steel for sure!!, my buddy has a Giken, LWFL lying around and mine was much thinner, and it is solid not drilled

I thought S5T2 were like 22 and the FD was 19 lbs. The fedex box said 18.67 lbs for the FD wheel when I got it. That is what I run on my S5T2.



I think the XACT pro-lite flyhweel from ACT is 9 lbs and it's steel

How well did they pack the box for the FW Jason? because i'm almost possitive it's 17, could the rest be packing material and such?

I want to add a little mopre zip to my driving in the mountains. I beleive that steel Racing Beat flywheel fits me good. I still use my car as a daily driver.

I have a Racing Beat 17 pound lightweight flywheel with an OEM clutch and pressure plate. I’m very happy with the results. My last clutch/pressure plate combo was a street strip variety whose manufacturer escapes me. My street/strip combo was crap. Engagement feel was lousy, the clutch springs were crap (felt like they were shocking my transmission into an early grave), and the pressure plate had less clamping force than OEM (I could slip in second at times). I pulled that clutch kit and used it “as is” in an auto to manual conversion. The current owner is happy with it (she was so happy to be done with the autobox that she would have been happy with anything). If I had to do it over again, I’d try the 12 pound RB flywheel. There is a point where a flywheel is too light, but I haven’t been there yet. Anyone have the 12 pounder?
