Hey, anybody else see these little chips that you put in your ECU. They are supposedly from KnightSports...they are all over Ebay. It says it gives you a more agressive fuel & intake curves, etc...w/ no rev limiter...I'm thinking about getting one while I wait to install my turbo kit and FMIC....any thoughts or opinions on these? They are $40, which makes me think they are NOT Knightsports...but oh well...

Just go to ebay.com and type in rx7 turbo, at least 5 or 6 ads come up about it....

from what i understand its a copy of a knightsports chip, and they do not give you the daughterboard (cousin larry board?) to put it in. most of the chips ive seen piggy back the stock rom, maybe this doesn't. but how do you put it in?

I bought one of those chips just for the hell of it. Its an 18 pin chip that comes with a socket. I haven't used mine, its just sitting in my dresser drawer right now. I've been hesitant to install it and **** up another ECU. If anyone wants to burn it, let me know. I'll send it to you as long as you burn me a couple of copies.

Once I get my new motor in and broken in, I'll dyno it...then I'll buy the chip and redyno and post the difference, I'm willing to blow the $40 on it for the good of the forum, lol...
