Well yesterday i picked up my first second gen yesterday. Its a 91 base model with 99k on it. Its in very nice condition and runs like a top. I want to know what the cheap power and reliability mods are. Ive heard a couple things but i just want to know what you FC guys think. I am very into drifting and have been since my fb a couple years ago. I most recently slid an 88 mr2. Anyhow, i also want to know if there is any drift suspension out there for the FC. Something with an aggresive rear springrate or something.

Jesse, sorry for making a mess but this is my first post on this forum and I haven't quite figured it out yet.Any way after driving a 1st gen for 20 years my wife made me buy a 'new' one .It's a 1987 GL with 60k on it .It's real nice.Of course every time I look at it I'm thinking a) how sweet it is ,b) how I can make it better/faster.I'll be following this post closely.Have fun with your new 7.BT

please dont ruin that thing by turning it into a drift car, its not a bad thing to do to a car but drift cars tend to get beat on a little more than daily cars. get a fixer uper and leave that one in its mint condition.

You asked for reliabilty mods, first of give it a complete tune up, PLugs wires, fuel filter, oil filter, oil, coolant. Also check ll the vaclines to make sure none of them are cracked. Also upgrade ur radiator, summers comming up so that would def. be something to consider.

Thanks for the compliments. I took it out drifting for the first time last night and it was fantastic. Dont worry about me messing it up. I will mildly modd it and try not to tear it up.
