Quick lil poll on how many members have jspecs/or the views on them. How many have you gone through, if you have bought them? Just voice your opinion on Jspecs...it'll make me feel better since I'm still motorless at the time...awaiting Atkins Response and still looking at options...

I would buy as a core for a rebuild. ONLY!!!

I highly recommend Rob at PINEAPPLE RACING!

Easy to work with, new housings. Not the easiest guy to get ahold of though.

First engine i got was missing a apex seal, lucky, the engine was on the a table being prepared to be installed when I check the seals.

The second engine I got as the replacement for the first one has been a very good engine. I think this one actually had around 33k as they actually say. Vacumm lines were still some what soft and still had the primer they spray at the factory. It had no oil leaks either. It started right up.

Does not burn any oil at all cause i use premix.

THis engine idles much better than my atkins rebuilded engine that broke a main bearing.

I dynoed with the stock turbo after installation at 200 rwhp at 7psi

I consider myself the luckiest man in the work

Rob has been real good in keeping touch w/ me...I haven't found it hard to get in touch w/ him at all...you must have caught him on vacation month or something, lol....

As for Atkins, I hope mine will be good...I've only had one problem w/ them in the past and they replaced the motor right away for no cost(warranty )
