Ok, well I started to pull the motor apart and get a better idea of damage and what actually went out on the motor. Remember, I had no compression in the rear rotor and there was a bad oring letting coolant get through and burn up on the outside of the LIM. That is what I thought...
Ok, started by taking the clutch off becuase I didn't want it sitting outside. There is NO wear on the clutch yet, lol..only has about 10miles on it. |

I also pulled the silicon vaccum spider off, along with the fuel rails and injectors. BTW, the secondary fuel rail along w/ all 4 injectors are for sale. The primary rail isn't for sale yet though. PM if your interested.

Next, pulled the turbo off and inspected for damage. I assumed that the apex seal broke off and flew through the turbo & manifold cuasing damage...but I didn't find any signs of damage on the manifold or the turbo...so of course, they are now for sale as well. PM if interested.

Shot of the bare side. Once removing the LIM, I discovered that it was not the oring that was busted, it was fine. It was actually a worn out broken gasket! Either way....its over with now.

Last shot for today, I need an impact to continue. I was able to spin the rear rotor around...I counted, one..two...three APEX seals...BUT one of the APEX seals was cracked and missing a piece, so this caused my no compression...This is actually a good sign, this means that the Apex didnt break off and fly out the exhaust cuasing further damage...so this motor may be repairable, but I wont be sure until I've got it all apart. I did get the waterpump off too...but no pics, lol. I'm beginning to get some closure https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif
