you do know that all jdm FC engines are turbo right? So you wouldn't be swapping in an n/a motor...

Its always a gamble when getting jspecs...I personally don't have any experience with them but I've heard both good and bad.

check out http://www.fc3s.org/engines/used_j_spec_engines.html good luck

this is a really stupid question....but if i bought a JDM engine...and it was turbo, cough i jsut take off the turbo and IC and what not, put my N/A intake and exhaust manifold and run the car?..or would the computer freak out?

I think that would maybe work if you swapped all the electronics, BUT it would be slower than a normal NA due to the lower compression rotors.

If you just need a running car, I wouldnt go through all that hassle.

Why dont you just try going to the junkyard or something? Just my 2cents, but I wouldnt go through all the trouble of odering a jspec engine, paying for shipping, getting it to my house, and swapping over eveything just to make the car slower.

You could probably get the engine rebuilt for less money/time than you would have wrapped up in all that.
