So after owning my T2 for about a year and half, and it sitting for a year and half, i drove it down the driveway and parked it.

I got a reman from Malloy, and over the past few months my friend has slowly been putting it in. All the waiting was worth it though, it fired up yesterday without a problem. Purrs like a kitten.

We are still trying to get the idle perfect and thats about it.

Sounds awesome and i cant wait till its legal to drive on the street.

yeah i was giddy like a little school girl all last night after the car started up.

we were having starter issues, and i had bought a used one, but the guy sent me the wrong one so we pieced the two bad starters together and made a good one.

Need to iron out a few creases but its good.

Vosko said there might be a small vacuum leak, cause the vacuuum at idle is around 10-11 and he said it should be up around 15-18. Its strange cause after it hits boost, the vacuum will sit at 15 and it will idle fine for 15-20 seconds and then the vacuum will slowly drop back down to 10-11, and the idle will get funky again.
