I have checked all my fuses and none were blown or anything. My dash (gauge cluster, autometer gauges, AC control unit) have no illumination. The bright light and the turn signal indicators DO however work. I am confused as all get out, maybe someone could shed some *light* on the subject.

The "illum" fuse handles that and your parking lights.

usually when your dash lights go, your tail lights are gone too. any word on how those are working?

you didnt just put in a new stereo did you? I've had this problem when I've put in an aftermarket stereo in using the stock ground wire. dont know why but if I ground the stereo to a bolt or something under the center console (instead of wherever the stock ground wire goes) it seemed to cure the problem. but then again I was usually blowing fuses when that happened....

I found out what the problem was, my light switch (headlights, interior dash lights, running lights, dimmer) farted out on me. I replaced it with another I had laying around and voila, lights came back. I never had any complaints about my tail lights tho. Who knows.
