I was wondering if someone could give me a little advise on which intercooler provides the highest amount of horsepower in a turbo II

I hear the Izuzu NPR one works the best on these cars. There is two versions of it.There the small one and the large.I think the large still fits it with ease.

Are you looking to fab up the pipes yourself? If so, go with a NPR IC. If you just want a kit, get the Greddy V-SPL 2 row. It is a real nice power gain.

intercoolers for the fc are pretty easy, the 24v greddy is by far the best bang for the buck

Does anyone use the old Starion IC? It seems like a cheap way to get a FM.

I bought a Starion IC to put into my AE, but then decided to just buy the Greddy FMIC. The Starion IC is for sale if anyone wants it. Fabbing up all of the pipe can be a pain in the ***, it would just depend on how you mounted it, and where you ran the pipes. I'm not too sure if anyone on this forum is using one though.

Here is a pic of the stock IC, Starion IC and the GreddyIC...

It took me like two weeks to mount my intercooler in front. But that's with waiting for the parts i ordered and for some reason the bumper was a real bitch to take off. I'm sure I could have done it over the weekend with parts in hand, including planning, work, and everything.

Depends on what psi you plan on running, and the application...
