Has anyone ever tried mounting the stock t2 intercooler in front of the radiator? maybe there would be clearance if one had no a/c,but what about plumbing?

The piping would be quite a bit of work, but you could still keep the A/C.

I think it can be done, but the plumbing will be hard...you can keep the A/C. Also, you'll probably have to relocate your battery...depending on how crafty you are w/ the piping...I would just get a starion IC or GReddy one...it'd be easier.

Now your just getting crazy, lol. The only thing that I've heard of that actually sounds legit if you wanna go real cheap, is to buy another stock mount intercooler(they are like $40 to $70 on thepartstrader.com) take your stock one, and the extra one you buy, have the welded together and then mount that in the front. You'll have to cut the endtanks off one side of each, but it can be done for like $20 in labor. Just a thought.
