Dose the intake airflow meter box have to be installed for the car to crank and run

the engine will crank without it, but might not start. if it does start it will run like a bag of ****

There's a hose you have to plug or else it won't do much of anything. Don't remember which but it goes to the air box.

The fuel pump check switch runs through the AFM without the AFM the car will not get fuel. The car gets fuel 2 ways, one is under cranking, the fuel pump runs. After the car pops over the fuel circuit is taken over by the connection in the AFM.



So in short no it wont.

I found the adapter peace you can put on the AFM. But what can I do with the rubber hose after. Do most people leave it on or what
