i bought a hks intake for my fc from a guy at work. he said he paid to have it remaped. i was just wanting to know what he means when he says its remapped.

Well they are a sponge, so he prob mean by redoing the little balck mesh screen that surrounds it also or the sponge filter itself.

ok since you said that they where a sponge i went and looked at the kit a little better and its a k&n setup

"remapped" is a word associated with engine control management, remapping the intake itself doesn't make any sense.

to me it just looks like he put a K&N filter on the stock setup maybe thats where he got remapped from
