the purple fades to a tan color. the injector number is on the side of the injector itself

best way is to just get a meter and measure them, no questions then

did the S4 turbo 2 come with both HIGH and LOW impedence injectors?

i keep hearing that some are low and some are high. how do you tell the difference if all s4 have the same square plug as opposed to the oval plugs on the s5 harnesses?

I have an 88 S4 TII myself i i went through the same bullshit as you. #1 only the 88 turbo 2 came with HIGH impedance injectors, You will know which injector is correct by the little locating notch on the actual plug for the injectors. The little locating tab is offset and will only accept the correct injector. Other injectors will not plug in, also the S4 harnesses are the square type plug. And yes it is best to just use an ohm meter and measure the resistance the high impedance injector should read 12-14 ohms, a low should be 4-6. Another helpful site to use is http://rotaryresurrection.com/2ndgen...ctor_info.html , it should answer the rest of your ?'s

Hope i helped out
