Revvin, you just need to make your own damnit. Don't be so friggin lazy https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png In all honesty I think that dash would look pretty decent.

My dash is out. I have throw out all the HVAC systems, and I play on running an lcd dash that runs off the e6k. The stock dash is really heavy and all my vents are broken :(. I think this looks pretty cool, and I like how it curves. The lcd could go there nicely.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR

For now Im just going to put the gutten dash back in. I'm going to put the money into something better, a roll cage...

build ur own outta fiberglass, it would be much betterlookin than that one. and it'll be really light, def lighter than 3 lbs.

its easier to type that then it is to make it

it would still be more then 3lbs

tin knocker is the answer

i figured fiberglass would be pretty light and ideal, because everyone was commenting on the aesthetics of the dash. the sheet metal would definitely be the best bet, functionally. I just thought that he could build whatever sort of dash he wanted out of fiberglass, aesthetically pleasing and functional

no freaking way your guna hand lay up a peice that big and make it less than 3lbs.

with pre-preg in a vacum bag maybe and that would be thin fibre

What about something like this? This is a fabcar though... That LSD display is all you'd need for a dash.

psyclo 05-04-2004 09:16 PM

That would be a damned sexy dash, if it looked alittle more livable outside the track.

TII777 05-05-2004 01:20 AM

yeah very cool, i like the bend so you have easy access to everything. The first dash is a little more visually pleasing. regardless it would be a challenge to fab your own dash. A lot of time would have to be invested in something like that.
