Check this out, the way I was told to check if the EGI fuse (spark fuse) is bad is while you are trying to turn the engine over, is to watch the tachometer. it should jump while the starter is engaged. If it does not jump, the EGI fuse(s) is/are bad.
Check the CAS (crank angle sensor) also, make sure the screw holding it in did not come loose or anything of that sort. Check plugs, power wires, grounds, FUSES, shorts to grounds, anything electrical having to do with starting/charging/ignition system. this includes plug wires and coils also. If when you pull the plugs out and they smell like gas, its obviously flooded, big mystery eh? revert to unflooding technique found using the search. It is VERY unlikely that the coils and igniter's go bad in these cars but it is possible. I actually found my second, second gen that way. simple fix for free of cost at the time. Car is now my turbo project that is nearing completion. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif Hope this helps, happy rotating. -B. |

I just noticed something. What does you being a "gal" have to do with your car problems? You can leave the "gal", "girl", and anything else you can think of out. We would all still help you... damn... there on to me https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif |
