why jacobs? seems like everyone here who goes to a capasitive ignition goes with the jacobs ignition FC 1000 (or 2000 or 3000). Thats gotta say something, but why not the MSD 6A box or whatever? not compatible? jacobs is shinier? dont like red boxes? I need more beer?

I guess the reason I ask is because I've replaced all my coils with MSD coils (got em for free, dont laugh) and figured the next step was capasitive ignition. I was going to keep it all MSD but noticed no one here said anything about it.

thanks

the FC1000 looked to be the best one when i was researching it. but if you were to go to the track, shows, or just search for engine bay picks. you'll see about 95% of people are running the MSD 6a or 6al.

if you already have MSD coils. use the MSD 6a. just makes sence.

the link has the specs for each one i liked...
