I'm having similar idle problems with my TII... it won't idle below 1300 RPMs... this was before and after the haltech... before the haltech it wouldn't idle below 1300 hardly at all...now it will idle below 1300 but it sounds like it's running on one rotor, engine shakes real bad (causes BOV to tap side of the bay, annoying)...

I also have a new problem though... when just revving the engine it revs fine and sounds golden....but when i put a load on it I hear a sparatic ticking sound... sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't.... sounds like it's coming from the left side (driver seat point of view) of the engine.... and I can feel a slight draw when it does it also... I do have a bearing going out on my idler pulley, but I don't think that's it and my father swears up and down that it isn't....

other symptoms include : when not in boost there is a slight misfire/hesitation/jerk... but anything above 3000 RPMs and it's golden, except for the ticking sound crap.... I'm not sure what the problem is so I have refrained from driving the car for now... gonna tear it apart this weekend....any advice is apreciated...

Have you tried giving it more fuel at 500 and 1000 RPM? What about the timing?

Today I stopped by to help Rob x-7 with the 87 he bought. Now it runs well, and it drives really nicely. MAN are stock cars quiet!
