Yeah Isamu and Pinsup it is. It seems though that what is shooting back into my res. though is steam, not coolant? Sound familiar? So possibly the coolant is vaporizing, then shooting back into my res. cleaning out all the coolant in my engine.

How about water pump? Have you flushed the system?

Water pump is BRAND NEW, matter of fact it's under a month old. The guy that owned the car before me bought this right before he sold it, as to flushing it, I can only assume pinsup...

pinsup, when I popped the clutched today I noted a smell like sulfur coming from the exhaust, I know that a small cloud of smoke (blue) should come from the exhaust on startup because of the oil mixed with fuel, but it seemed like there was very little smoke and that it was kind of curling out of the exhaust. Does that tell you anything?

Seems to me like something got fried.

Of course, I put on a new coolant gasket ring, and took out my thermo, so that right there my contribute to part of it, though I'm not quite sure how. The car was pretty cool (about 1/8 or under on my monitor) so I'm not sure how it would burn something.

Alright I got it!!! Antifreeze is seeping into my engine, that right there explains the smell, and the back pressure, what's going on is that it's the exhaust gas's that are coming back into my radiator overflow, I should be able to pull my spark plugs and smell gass/exhaust fumes. Problem is I'm not sure what could have been warped because of this. I guess there is a seal somewhere that is leakiung the antifreeze into my engine. Only problem now is, wtf seal is it? I'm not even sure where to start looking? Anyone? What all should I check to make sure that this is the condition? What should I check for warping? What seal should I even look at? Anyone, everyone, please I almost got it fixed!!!! (does a happy dance)

Maybe I just thought it... that would be a coolant seal that would cause that.

Start the engine and watch the muffler, is it spewing white looking smoke that disipatese and disipears as it travels away from the car... you can also smell it and you will definitly smell the antifreeze.. If so you need to overhaul your engine.

You also need to make sure you fill the engine properly.. IE. fill it full of water and replace the caps, then start the engine and let it idol up to operating temp. Now shut it down and let the engine cool and fill it again... somtimes you will need to do this 3 or 4 times to get all the cavitated air out of the engine.

Buy anouther new radiator cap

Check the fan clutch to make sure it isn't bad and not allowing the cooling fan to operate at the proper speed..

I think your hard starting problem is probably just a bad set of primary injectors that are leaking, a very common problem on FC's..

There is no way to tell if you've messed up anything inside other than to just dive it. change the oil and drive it normal for about 3-400 miles, this will somtimes let scored and scratched **** kind of wear back in to place kind of like doing a initial break in on the engine.

HOLY **** I AM BURNT!!! I POSTED THINKIN THERE WAS ONLY 1 PAGE. sorry..... ill keep it here cause i feel special i was right!!!!

umm...might be a stoopid suggestion, but have you checked the thermostat? If the radiator is cold and the engine overheating, water isnt flowing.

Get ur thermostat and put in a pot of water and boil the bitch, it should open up slowly. if it doesnt open, just cut the middle part out for now. you can drive it like that, if it was that... it will take longer to warm up, so dont run the car hard when its not warmed up...=)

something similar to what you are talkin bout happened to me with my N/A. it overflowed all the crap in the reservoir and blew it all out and the temps shot up like a bitch. i took the biggest ****. did that gangsta rig with the thermostat, then went to buy one a few days later....

hope this helps.
