Youngbecker, Id rather not blow $$$$ than blow flames, i used to think that was cool but the way gas prices are nowadays its not worth it. Plus with the stock cat in place its kinda hard to blow flames, when i had the hollowed ones thats all the car did.

check the temp sensor in the radiator also . ( it should be closed when is warm)

You say you have a cat, if it's clogged thats also a souce of bad milage.

A little re-cap:



Dirty injectors, bad afm, bad O2 sensor, bad temp sensor(s) and a heavy right foot



all contribute to bad mileage or making the car run rich, what are we leaving out?

The fact that its an rx7. I think it is just a fact of life that your car is going to run rich at some point in its life. Its just a rotor thing.
