I Need Help W/ Clutch Saftey Switch

does anyone know how to bypass or override the Clutch/neutal saftey switch? I have an 88 T2. I want to add remote start. Have tried relay, disconecting it and looping it

you short the 2 wires together. they are beefy black w green ones

arent there two switches on the clutch? make sure you are doing it on the one that is at the end of travel (fully pressed) the one at the beginning of travel is for the cruise control cancel if i remember correctly.
