I made some sleek lights. Cf housings with sylvania 4153 lights? that are generic lights that are used in some trucks and cars. Anyhow the lights are street legal. I put the lights in for giggles and the pics look like crap because of the snow and the dirty rex but you get the idea. I put my stock ones back on but put these on for a test fit and the passenger side one is a lil off after i moved the car (they werent bolted in, i just sat them in there). Here are a couple of pics... just for those curious.

Might you happen to know what the beam pattern looks like, or or have some pics of them installed at night, during operation?

I've been wanting to do this for a while now, but with two smaller round lights per housing instead of one large rectangular one.

I have been worried that there wouldn't be enough light hitting the ground, and I don't want to cut out the flash-to-pass lens, as I feel that it is one of the defining characteristics of the FC, but I guess I could mount another light in the flash to pass housing behind the lens.

Am I the king of run-on sentences, or what?

nah, don't wory about it. But, yeah, the ftp lights, although I never use them, were something that I was wondering about. I think I need to see how they look at night first before I pick them up
