Had the same thing happen on my car scorched the oil rings on the rotors and started to make a smoke screen durring downshifts. ran mine real low though. finally had to break down motor and install new oil seals on rotors everything else was ok.

yep ur right, where can i get one from, Mazdatrix? I'm planning on gettin the ss lines from Racing Beat, why don't they make all sorts of AN fittings for our cars? they look so nice. Which ones are better the mazdatrix lines or the RB ones?
I like the RB lines because if the hoses ever go bad they're easy to fix. You usually have to do SS lines yourself. That's why it's "custom."
yea i know that but why cant our cars use An fittings they look so much better than the clamp wanna bes that i have.

SS lines and AN fittings cost ALOT more than rubber hose with clamps.

yes u were, but tell me this. A while back if u don't remember i pulled that vac spider under my manifold and all the vac lines practically. I capped off the 2 vac lines on the oil filler neck also

----- What do they do? Do i need them? If so where should i run them?-------------------------------------------------

I know that one is a breather. You could put a small filter on it. Doesn't it usually vent back into the intake?

I don't remember what they look like, but you should make sure that you use o-rings that can handle high temperatures.

yeah thats why i just payed $ 6.00 for them :wow: what a joke, but i didn't want to screw around and get the wrong piece etc. I got them installed and still hvae a tiny leak, i need to tighten the screws down, my oil pressure is 2 like 15 lbs/in^2, so i no its not right. I also took it for a spin and noticed it leaked some. I got stuck 3 times in 10 minutes too! with 1- 1 1/2 inches of snow on the ground. my car is a cold beast, hates winter
