Ok so when i bought this car it came with a CLifford Matrix 2.5X alarm system installed with a remote blah blah blah.

well today i came home, turned off the car went in my house. Came back outside and now the alarm isnt reacting to the remote, like no matter what i press the car just sits there and the alarm stays active so as soon as i touched it or open the door it starts going off.

ANY IDEAS? how hard is it for me to just get rid of this thing? is it gonna be tons of work? or can i just remove the alarms connections and match the wires up by color?

the battery in the remote is brand new, the remote even has a thing that shows you the strength of the battery (like a cell phone thing)...and its solidly full.

and the car battery is brand new.
