well got in my car to start it this morning and let it warm up, crawled in thru

the passenger door as usual (my outside driver handle doesn't work) went back inside and then when my girlfriend and I got to leave, she couldn't get in her door, i just figured i accidentally locked it, no bid deal, so i crawled in thru the hatch (thank god i tore out that lock cylinder) and opened it, well, it opened from the inside i unlocked it and opened it and shut it again, well then it wouldn;t open from either handle, i spent 2 hours (just came in from that) after work, taking the door apart from the inside (which is VERY hard), i still can't get it to open, and since it won't open i can't see what i am doing, hence can't get the damn door to open, any one have any idea WTF is going on? the rods connected to both the handle and the lock are working (i.e. moving) but still no open, only thing i can figure is sumthin broke inside....and i can't see to find out what..i hate my ******* POS car...

like the sig says for sale ...800$ to the first one to get here and get it out of here (i wanted 1500 for it).........

follow the rod for the handle to the striker in the door and see if it came

off there. Im sure you can push down where it connects and get the

door open?

a piece with a hole where?

Either your release rod came off at the striker, or your

lock isnt working right anymore. You can adjust both if you do happen

to get your door open. If the lock or the release isnt adjusted right

the doors will give you problems locking and open/close.

the worst part is i replaced all my plugs and it was running GREAT, i killed a 90 Civic hatch on my way home, and then **** like this happens and i just want to dump it off, it'd be alright if it was sumthing like the door is hard to close or whatever but it not opening at all is extremely infuriating....i wanna take a very large blunt object to it, maybe a crowbar will open it

they both seemed to move in a normal range, and i felt the rods moving pieces, but obviously i don't know what does what and what should move, i just know it won't open and it's REALLY pissing me off....and since i can't see and try to figure it out it makes me even more mad....i may just take it to some1 and have them fix it...i also have a flat tire now, no idea how it happened either, been a shitty day altogether, i had to work today too...i'm calling in tomorrow......

i just reread yer earlier post Rob, and the handle moves the striker, and the lock moves the locking mechanism in the door, but it still won't open, it acts like it's locked (I hate that pulling the handle from the inside doesn't unlock the door, that's y i had to pry out the hatch lock...) but i have unlocked it from the mechanism so i can only imagine that maybe the bottom half of the striker isn't moving..if there is a top and bottom, the top IS moving and the lock part on the bottom is also moving.....could it be the collar that wraps around the bar is stuck? i examined how the driver's side worked and when it's locked the little black collar won't roll back to let the door open.....
