Ok, after two months of beeping while I drive I got it! After taking everyone's advise and checking everything out I narrowed it down to this. when I first got my 7 the speed-o stopped working, so i replaced it with a auto meter phantom speed-o, to pass inspection " altho I get a lick and stick any way". The car was fine for a day. After that it was all about the beeping, for two months straight!! The first word of advise was from Dave at K.D. He said my alt was taking a crap. I waighted it out, two weeks lator on one cold morning befor work the battery was dead. So I got a new altonator, that fixed my charging problem but the beeping was still there. Oh ya, I got this far and I forgot to mention what the car was doing. "When I first started the car all was whell, till about ten min lator. the suspention got stiff, I lost power steering and the brakes got stiff." Any how next I was told it was my steering computer. I checked for a lose conection at the steering box and the pump, everything was good. Then I was told my steering computer was bad, because i take the cheep way out I started to disconect everything that was effected by the noise figuring that would take care of the problem. After that, I took it for a test drive and sure enough it was still there! At that point I gave up and learned to live with it scince I couldn't find the speaker that was making the noise so I could break it. Just yesterday I spoke with a fellow member and he pointed out that the cause of the whole problem was the speed-o guage. The whole system worked off of the speed of the car. At that he told me what to do to get rid of the noise, "unplug the computer" he told me whare to find the thing. I did that today, AHHHH no more annoying beeping and my car is running fine. I attached a pic of the unpluged computer sorta as a trophy of my victory and to show any one else with the same problem what it should look like and as for this topic, let it be a instruction manual. HAPPY ROTORING!!
