Well don't buy a 1st gen than. Riding in my 2nd gen seems HUGE compared to driving my 1st gen. Just mess with the seat and steering wheel a bit and you should be alright. Even though it feels strange at first, you will get use to it pretty quick. Every car feels strange the first time you sit in it or drive it.

 

I am 6'4" and I fit into my FC just fine. Just lean the seat back a little and work the pimp slouch.
