well i was drivin my t2 today and im not sure what happened but it flat out died. on a hill in the blind spot between 2 corners. it was running a little wierd before hand but nothing that seemed horribly wrong it just felt like it wasnt all there above 4k( i stoped at about 5k since it didnt feel right) and didnt think much of it till it died. it died going up the hill in fifth gear doing about 50 mph not alot of stress on the engine either which is what gets me. i started up the hill then i lost all power almost like theres no fuel in the engine at all. i pumped the gas nothing the car was just rolling up the hill dead as a door nail.



so heres what happened with out the bull ****.



1. car felt like it had no power above 4k

2. started up the hill low rpms and tach crashed down to 0 never to rise again

3. car turns over fine just seems like no fuel is getting to the engine



so i figure it could be

A. fuel pump

B. fuel filters



any other things it could be? its been one hell of a bad day topped off with my car breaking down and if anyone has any ideas other than filter/pump id greatly appreciate it

You could just be out of gas...



Well, it does sound like a fuel problem. Now whether its a fuel pump, a lack of fuel pressure, or a computer that isnt sending any gas to the injectors, or something, but I don't think this shoud be an expensive fix.

Check the EGI fuse.
