Just curious where you guys with the hybrid turbos had them done. Is there a DIY kit and what did it $. I'm testing the waters for upgrading my turbo but haven't decided which direction I want to go. Thanks in advance.

They convert a Series 5 Turbo into a hybrid T-04E and port the wastegate. 3 years ago it cost me $600. Only use the Waco office. |

yes i can! the stock exhaust housing can be bored to fit an o trim wheel, and then the rest of the t04 goes right in |
Well I emailed Majestic to see what they could do. Did they give you a choice of wheels or anything? Is there really a downside to a hybrid vs. a straight To4? Cause that sounds like a good price to up the boost. Thanks

I had a hybrid T-04E on my TII. It made 242 RWHP at 9 PSI and ran a 13.06 in the 1/4 @ 10PSI. I daily drove it at 7 PSI and it was a nice fast spooling turbo. There is virtually zero lag.
It is still working to this day. Mazdadrifter had it in his TII and just sold it to Phinsup. I am not sure if Majestic will offer a choice of wheels. I suggest you call them and talk to them. They are really cool there and love to talk to you and make sure you get what you want. I will PM you 2 names to have them look up in their records. If you want to copy my setup or my friends. We both loved that turbo. |

BNR I got a BNR 3 on a S4 turbo. He likes the S4 turbo because he can port it larger up to 35MM on the WG. James |

go with the o-trim, I've been dying to see some 350+rwhp numbers out of a hybrid. |
Majestic did my S4 and did a nice job on it. I have no complaints about the way it boosts. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

we had one on pauls yellow car, it felt like 300+rwhp. the 3mm seals did it in though |
Mike thank you I have been trying to figure out if the to4 cartridges would fit on the stock hotside.
Would this be good for running high psi #'s, cuz I was told that running a lot of boost (I belive it was above 12psi) on a stock center section would wear it out pretty quick. |
