ok guys,

I am pretty sure my motor lost compression, but before i spend $3000+ on a rebiuld, I want to make sure its not something else...like fuel. I tested for spark already and thats good.

So how do I test that its getting fuel?

How do I test that the fuel pump is good?

Can it be something wrong with my ECU? (My engine may be dead, but I'm not getting any error codes. I find that strange!)

Symptoms: Wont start, Huge loss of power and violent vibrations when it died on the hyw.

Thanks

As far as testing the pump, yank the line where the fuel enters the engine and crank it over. If you don't have fuel there pull it ust before the fuel filter.

the lazy mans way: turn the key on. on the drivers side shock tower there is a yellow 2 pin connector. jump connetor, listen for the fuel going thru the lines.
