Methanol....you'll need larger injectors. It takes twice the amount of methanol VS gas to combust in the chamber correctly..and the tuning it the reverse of tuning with gas.

Just put the emissions stuff back on and then take it off the next day....that is what i do

yeah...those Ford DFX, DFS, XB,XD... motors run on methanol... (vintage ChampCar)

Methanol is significantly less dense than gas....55 gal drum of M1 weighs about 300 lbs

55 gal of C16 weighs 405 lbs. I know this because i move them around the shop

I have had the experience of watching Dave Dalgren tune Jose Perez's 13B on the motor dyno at MWE. The fuel map was backwards from a gas map. (875hp@11,000)

Thats all good and well, but have you ever ran alcohol through your car to pass emissions? Didnt think so...

You dont need to change your injectors. Just run your gas low, pour in a gallon or so of alcohol. If it idles rough, add some gas until it doesnt. Then go get it smogged, and drive the rest of that crap out of there.

Or just dump some alcohol in there...Whichever you want to do.
