It's not exactly plug and play...but it does bolt in, u really dont need to fab anything.

Price would be anywhere from $2k and up really..unless you get a cheap parts car...

its way cheaper and easier to buy a T2 in most cases though...

Drivetrain is the only real hard part, swapping the rear end is a pain.

Where are you located. I have a complete TII drivetrain available.

Series 4 Engine / wiring harness and ECU complete - $500

Tranny / Driveshaft / Rear end - $750

I am in Florida just north of West Palm and can deliver in Florida.

BTW - The rear is mounted in the cradle. I also know where there is a TII hood for sale for $150.

Wish I had the money, wouldn't sell my GXL. and you're not that far from me either. damn money problems. would it be possible to drop in a TII engine without changing tranny and rear? just for a short period of time (say 2 weeks with gentle daily driving)?

i remember hearing about one guy who did the turbo swap on his gxl and never changed the rear end.

it wont take as much power but in stock form he was running faster than stock TII's. he accredited it to the gearing in the NA trans.

so it can be done but if you wanna mod the car than you should just change the whole drivetrain
