QUICK QUESTION, Got a 87 sport with sunroof, PS,BP and was wondering how rare the sports are, also anyone know the base weight of the sport models. The mazda trix guy said it wasnt a sport cuz of the sunroof but my insurance and the option sheet i found all point to a sport model... The wing on the car I have is new to me... NOT THE GXL wing, I also has the side skirts. Thanks for all the info!!

 

Sports dont have sunroofs.

 

I have a mazda promo that lists all models and availble options in 87 and a sunroof was optional on sports models......hhhhmmmm

 

its either a sun roof or a moon roof....i have a 87' i dont kno if its a GTU GTUs or a base sport coupe...

GTUs has a 4.3 NA rear end.

a sport is NOT a gtu and It did not come with factory LSD... me and toy boy already have been over it.....also a sunroof was and option on sport models in 87 if you belive MAZDA BROCHURE YEAR 1987 . 4 options total are availble for sports... ac, sunroof,alarm,and auto reversing tape deck...all im missing is the alarm alarm

 

Yes, it was an option, however I havent seen any with it.



As far as rarity, its just another NA RX-7. BTW, a manual base, no sunroof is the lightes FC
