I would like to lower my car. i am going to retain my 15 inch wheels... and currently have 225-50-15 all the way around. i am getting suspension soon... and would like to lower it along with stiffening it up

how low should i go? or should i say, how long can i go

i dont want a 'lowrider' just something that looks extreamly well, and will ride and handle alot better too

1 inch? 1.5 inch? is 2 inches pushing it? will i get fender/tire rub?

i know someone here has lowerd their FC.

I have the Eibach pro kit with KYB AGX shocks. Look at my fc pics I just posted. I'm not sure how much it lowered if any, because my stock springs were probably sagging.

yeah, I think I got maybe a 1/2 inch drop with that set up. It looks like it could use another inch yet.

yeah the 'Maroon' FC right? man. my suspension is so messed up

If i turn a corner too hard.. the rear end acctually bounces like a basketball

and turning on a corner with bumps involved (road bumps) forget about it

my rear end sounds and feels like it's going to fall off the car.

Mine was the same way. Shocks completely blow out. Its downright dangerous. Get a good spring/shock combo and it should fix your problems. Springs alone will only make it worse.

how yours handle with the new shocks ihor? mine is i think 22" in the front and 24" in the rear from the ground to the top of the wheel well, much lower and you have to worry about scraping stuff. i just posted pics too so you can get a feel for it, its also on 15"'s

Werd. My GXL is lowered close to 1.75 all the way around right now...maybe a little more then that in the rear. Its at -1.5 camber front, -1.75 rear. With apex springs, GR2 struts, and right now BBS 15s. I had 18's before and there was NO fender gap..looked great. Now I have a little gap inthe back, but not much in the front. Here is a new pic. I will find an older one with 18s.
