My T2 is probably lucky if it gets driven 2 or 3 times a month. I know that in the winter, it hasn't been driven for months at a time. It never seems to mind.

Of course, gas goes bad, and seals and stuff dry out, and batteries surely go dead after sitting several months. Wasn't it Newton's law of inertia? An object at rest tends to stay at rest. Unless I was putting the car away in long-term storage, I'd be sure to start it up and give it a drive about every other week.

If you do intend to put it away for long-term storage, I'd think you'd want to drain the fuel system first. And to keep it out of the weather in a nice cozy garage.

our weather is really mild, but i parked one of my gsl-se's in a field for 2 years, threw a battery in it, and took it to the race track, and it was fine.

id put a little atf/oil into the spark plug holes, turn the engine around by hand a couple of times, and then try to start it.

it might be ok, might not, cant tell until it runs....
