Check the timing write up in the FAQ section. Basically you want to align the yellow mark on the pulley with the pointer on the front cover, then take out the CAS, align the notch on the gear with the notch on the shaft, then put it back in, take the cover off the CAS, there are two pickups in there on the gear that should be lined up (you'll see what I mean). Then with the car warmed up, idle around 750, get the timing light out, hook it up to your leading L1 plug wire, the yellow leading mark on the pulley should be aligned with the pointer on the front cover (5 degrees ATDC).. if its not, loosen the CAS bolt and turn it till it is. Trailing should automatically follow at 20 degrees ATDC.

correct! don't assume that when you stab the cas with it lined up on the mark that it's going to be that way when the car is running. When you stab it i think the timing can still be off by like +/- 10 degree's so check it with a timing light!

also don't you need to ground one of the green plugs when you do this? like the single wire green plug by the battery?
