The t2 scoop/intercooler is awful.

I think they just put it there for looks, cause it sure does look purdy.

I was thinking about that the other day...yeah, I'm that boring. Is there some way to measure the airflow going into the scoop at certain speeds? I'm curious to see just how bad it is.

yes there is. in the 80's racing beat glued string to their imsa car and took video of how the wind blew the strings around as it was driving on the track.

Maybe I'll just glue a string to my intercooler and see if it comes out of the hood...lol.

I wish I had a little sister...I could steal the streamers off of her Barbie bicycle....I'm certainly not taking them off of mine.

Perfect illustration why a cowl induction hood works.
so cowl induction works by using the vacuum created at the base of the windshield to suck the air through? or am I just way off base...

yes, and they been putting cowl induction hoods on cars since the 60's.

It would be cool to use a cowl induction hood on a RX-7 and run a cold air set up with the intake being right in the cowl induction area at the base of the windshield versus the front of the car where the car gets no air flow thru the radiator support.
