Well, I think i'm gunna go for a carb set up when i get my headers.

Get the Road Race version of the RB Headers.

I found a good Lower intake ready to go.. All i need is a Carburator.

I can than begin removing my Entire Computer system... Dump the injectors. And get a 12A Distributor

What do you guys think? Any idea's? Anyone done it before. I need some insight. I'm tired of Computer, Injectors, Wires, Air flow Meters, and all that goes along with it. Should i do it?

more power?

I was wondering if there was any advantage to carbs VS efi.

personally i prefer sticking with the efi, just not the stock AFM setup.

you'll have better results with a programmable efi that uses speed/density, such as the haltech, electromotive, or SDS. If you're on a budget you can check out megasquirt.

youll also need lower fuel pressure to run the carb setup btw. and if you live in a climate that has largely varying temperatures you'll find yourself with a car out of tune often.

Efi is far superior to a carb setup. The stock efi sucks though. Go with some kind of new engine managment if you are going to go through all that trouble. Haltec, microtec, something. From what I have heard you can see 20 hp gains from switching over. This is partly due to losing the stock afm and to getting your engine tuned to your mods.

I have the RB Carb in my FC. I would be against it, unless you are proficient in rotories and carburator tuning, unlike moi. I happened to purchase the damn car as-is.

But if you're real gung-ho, I say why the hell not. I've been told that with every ten degrees in weather change you "have" to retune, alongside with other tempermental bullshit. But how baddass would a bridgeport carb, stripped down, running very little electrical components FC be? Something to concider....
