I was wondering if I need a cat with the Hose plug on it for the Split air line? Could I just have the line end there or does it have to go into the cat? Because my car needs a whole exaust anyway.

If you're going to keep the emissions stuff and are going to buy a new cat, I would go ahead and get the one with the air inlet on it. Running a cat without the air inlet isn't going to work as well and will probably clog up pretty quick. Look at it this way: The factory didn't put it there for nothing.

That's my $.02!

factory doesnt use it for a whole lot, but its not like a cat with the tube is hard to find or expensive
