hooking up electric oil press. guage

Do I have to get the adapter plate for under the oil filter (RB/Mazdatrix) or will the electric sender screw in where the stock mechanical one is?

i know the greddy one will replace the stock one. if you have an autometer it probably won't, its not gonna be metric threads
