Hoiw Do I Build An Intake For My 87 Na

I have a 1987 RX7 S4 Non-Turbo and I want to make an intake for my car.....basically I know that I need a cone filter and filter breather for the air pump......but what I want to know is ......... how the hell do I do it...................and what is this I hear about a Airflow Meter Adapter, I hear HKS sells them but can I get on for chaper at say Home Depot???



Basically how the hell do I build an intake for a 87RX7

all the parts, accessories and materials needed

when i did mine i used the cone filter adapter from autozone. then i used a reducer and hooked the airpump hose to the capped off airsource on the bottom of the black intake tube. worked well. there's not much to it.

Yeah HKS makes an adapter that flows well unlike the crappy ones sold at stores. K&N are the best filters for the price but APEXi are the best FILTERING.

Cold air boxes are worthless guys. That one that aggie made looks ok if you don't mind creating a hole in the metal. But remember that rubber couplers like the ones from homedepot will become hard and crack. Get good silicone couplers and you will thanksyourself many times in the future.
