you can get a powermaster in 140amps as well for that extra bit

of juice



if I was only going to get the 100amp one I would just get a FD one I suppose.

Phinsup, I would just take it to a local alternator shop and have it rebuilt to put out more juice, and usually it will put out more than 100amps if you go this route.

Hmm, wonder if I should pick up a used one on ebay and have it re-wound. My cost on the powermaster is $80, i am having issues picturing the mounting procedure though LOL I like to have **** figured out before i buy it if that makes any sense.

Alternator shop said they can't boost the FC alternator.



The FD alt's are fuggin pricy.

Ok, take a drive out to my house and we'll do it. It should only cost you about $200 in gas.

I have an FD alternator in my FC and let me tell you it gives my car plenty of juice. It's especially handy because I have a crappy Sears Diehard Gold battery and the previous owner took out the stereo. I can drive around at night with my lights on no problem.





err, sorry for the worthless post. I'm actually putting a system in this weekend, i'll let you know how ti goes.

i called 3 and my buddy's dad owns an electric motor shop. All said no.
