Hmm, wonder if I should pick up a used one on ebay and have it re-wound. My cost on the powermaster is $80, i am having issues picturing the mounting procedure though LOL I like to have **** figured out before i buy it if that makes any sense.

I have an FD alternator in my FC and let me tell you it gives my car plenty of juice. It's especially handy because I have a crappy Sears Diehard Gold battery and the previous owner took out the stereo. I can drive around at night with my lights on no problem.

apex got his upgraded locally no problem
stop being scared of the powermaster, its easy to install
