ok well the car starts fine just did some minor changes since the last time it ran

problem with the car is it stays at 1500 idle and doesn't come down even when it's warm, it's idling roughly and backfires quite a bit in neutral on deceleration and also decelerates slower then it used to

it's a n/a 87 with 10,000 KM on the engine

i have BUR9EQ plugs in all 4 but it's been like that since last october and was like that last week when i ran it

the only changes since last time it ran are I bypassed the heater core since it's fucked(coming out the engine and right to where it comes back out the firewall) and its running 89 octance when i always ran it at 87

doesn't smoke, nothing else is abnormal smells like it might be running a little richer then usual but not sure

any ideas

could it be a combination of cold plugs with 89 oct. ? could bypassing the heater core have anything to do with it??

i think you may have an air bubble so the fast idle (thermowax) doesnt come down

There is a Topic posted in the 2nd Gen FAQ area in this forum. It's really a great mod. Cleans up the TB alot.. and increased my Throttle Response. Maybe 1 - 2 HP gain? I dunno.
