alright so yeah i figured ide post an update of whats going on if anyone cares. the motors all ready to come out and im picking up the hoist/stand this weekend and puling it sunday monday then im gonna start braking her down and seeing how messed up she is.

 

and heres a shot of the UIM/TB i pulled off because my friend is gonna polish everything in my engine bay up starting with the UIM/TB.

 

Don't use silicone hose for you brake booster line. Use the stock hardpipe or something else that will not flex. Anyhow good luck.

 

Retrofit an FD manifold and TB.. Bigger seconadry plates.. And they're prettier.. And you're doing le front mount anyways right?



You got lots of work ahead of you man.. Especially that haltec harness..

 

I agree half the fun is almost over, but you are gonna be like a 4 yr old @ x-mas opening the motor up, hmm whats inside????

which i completely forgot. 54mm right? god damn i dont know how im getting it off. mike i think you need to come over and help me.

 

I thought it was 52mm..

 

I used 2 1/8 socket when I broke my flywheel loose.

 

Spaeking of which has anyone actually dynoed to see if the FD manifold really helps that much or what it improves?
