S4s use exhaust backpressure, not air pump

dude... gut the cat out. and if your still bogging after you fixed the port valves then its a grounding problem. add a 4 guage wire from the negative terminal of the battery to one of the 4 bolts that bolts the strut in ( right behind the rectangle fuse block, there is a rubber roundish peice covering the bolts) then if it still does it, check the intake manifold ground. should be one on back of intake right behind throttle body, there is a little lip with a bolt, and it grounds from there to a piece on the firewall on the passenger side under the brake lines or coolant line i dunno youll find it... to test if your port valves are working smear some grease on the shaft one both of them that move... go drive it around above 3800 rpm a few times... then pop the hood and if the grease smeared then they moved and are working... if not i have an extra one if you need it

pretty sure it's a clogged cat on the auxillary exhaust system (right bank) need to make a test pipe for it

Keep you guys posted after

p.s. I held the ports open by taking out the linkage and turn the arm to 12 o'clock (which I imagine would have the same effect as if the arm's at 6 o'clock since the sleeves are just pipes with a hole thru it in the end) and SOMETIMES I can get full throttle full power in 1st gear (low load) but 2nd gear on it's same ol'.

I'll get that test pipe made and tell u guy what's what after.

I made a test pipe for the car it has like no catalytic converter whatsoever at this point.

.........................and the problem still persists. the exhaust flows nicely now but it's still driving like this:

0 - 3.5K woooo my car is so powerful it's so fast~~~

3.5K WTF it's bogging!!

3.5K-7K WTF it takes like 2 minutes to get to 7K!!!! but if I lift off half way the car jerks forward as tho it's got 200HP!!

I no longer have any clue what to do with this thing anymore....

I'll try grounding it then see what gives.

Have you tried resetting the TPS?

oh cool to know

You need to upgrade the grounds. This is an old car and the grounds need to be upgraded or at least cleaned up.

Do you still have the split air pipe going to the presilencer? You need pressure to open your 5th&6th ports.
