Getting a turbo engine would be the best option.. probably cheaper too...
As far as engine mods go, eliminate all unnecessary junk, get headers, straight through exhaust.. and thats as much as I know.. but a good start.. |

what are all the mods already done? just a j port and nothing else? whats going on with the intake manifolds to go with that j port? |

this is my first time building a rotary can i run just headers or do i need backpressure what all mods can i get all i know of is nitrous porting exhaust and fuel i mean **** no 513 lift cams or 10:1 pistons stroker kits cant bore it the only thing i have on now is long tube headers and a port job just asking for info on what all mods i can do dont have to get all pissey

who did the port and rebuild job, you? If you spent all that money on a monster port job on an NA motor, why would you want to then do a turbo swap and lose all that money or are you thinking now of boosting the NA?
With the right porting, exhaust, fuel, and intake set up (such as Webers, etc), 250HP is doable NA for lots of green. |
j-port, haltec, TWN's = faster than mustang. What are you trying to do?

no what i ment is there is a lot more you can to to a piston motor that i know of and dont know how to mod a rotary i am not that much of a dumb ass to think that you have any type of valvetrain parts and pistons in one

you could attempt a turbo hybrid. running a stock turbo on your n/a engine. I wouldn't run anything over 5 lbs tho, and some type of intercooler. 93 octane and run rich, to avoid any detonation.
If you have no self control don't even attempt this tho, boost greedy will make ur rotary a paper weight faster than you can say boobies. |
i think i will just sell the car and buy a t2

that's probably your best bet for your power goal... plus most T2's pushing 250 are still very streetable
