Does anyone know someone who deals is parts and are currently in Japan. I am trying to locate a protector for the rear tail light of a 87 coupe.



The part number is FB 051 159 and is not available here in the states.



The other side, as well as the center brake light protector, are available though. This makes no sense to me.

isnt the fb the 1st gen parts?

 

The 1st Gen is an FB, but several 2nd Gen part numbers start with FB as well.



I also want to clarify I am trying to get a new part.



I know they have these at the junkyard, but I want a new one if possible.

It is a black rubber/plastic piece that fits between the tail light lens and the body itself. It fills the gap in that is left without one.

 

ok this might be confusing. the 81-85 rx7 vins are jm1fb.... but the parts for an 81-85 rx7 are all FA01, or a variation therof (the parts are numbered for what the original aplication was, so stuff for the 79 rx7 like the window mouldings are 8871-xx-xxx but they fit 81-85 cars. or stuff for the gsl-se is FA66).



FB01 part numbers fit the 86+ rx7's



FC01 part numbers are 89-91 rx7's (except for the stuff that is the same from 86-91 or what have you)



FD'S are FD01



rx8 is FE01, why they call it se3p i have no clue
