Hi everyone, the only thing that prevents me for getting my FC is a pair of keys, the current owner lost both of em, so I went to mazda germany today, and asked what should I do.

they told me (in german) to look for the keys code in the car somewhere (that's the part I didn't understand, I'm not very fluent in german yet), but I have no idea where to look.

anyway, does any of you have an idea of where I can find this key code location please ?

thank you

I've never heard of that. Here, if you give your VIN to the dealership, they can make a key for you.

Or, you removed your hatch/trunk lock, take it to a locksmith, and they can make a key for you.

like baldy said if you got to the dealership give them your VIN they will print you out a paper called an IMDS or some **** it will contain the key code and any infromation pretaining the car and its warrenty work it will also inform you of any open recalls

or again take one of the locks out

but if your lucky and know some one with a 7 try their key it will probly work

ok, that's probably the VIN code the guy was talking about, the car is not yet mine, so where should I tell the owner to look for that VIN code ?

on the right side door lock (us passenger, RHD drivers side) they stamped the key code into it. 4 digit number.
