It sucks down coolant? Where is it going?

puddles on the ground? out the tail pipe? soggy carpet?

If the coolant seals are gone, it could be drinking it, but it would certainly show other signs, visible coolant exiting the tailpipe, puddeling on the belly pan/ground, and could run pretty hot/bad.

What's the temp gauge showing?

How often do you have to refill coolant?

Is the return line warm coming from the heater core? (should be the hose coming from the fire wall to the radiator I think) If it is, then the flap across the heater core is stuck or your temp control is messed up. If it isn't, your heater core or a line is probally clogged.

What was your coolant seal fix?

ok i felt the hose from the block to the firewall. its warmish-hot but not as hot as the return hose to the radiator. so assuming it isnt hot enough, what would be the problem? assuming it is plenty hot enough, what could be the problem?
