Heater problems

OK well my heater has always worked good. i do the coolant seal fix cuz im poor and the junkyard sold me an engine that sucks down coolant so im pissed off about that. afterwards my heater blows outside temperatures, so i replace the thermostat. STILL blows cold as hell. what the hell else did that block weld stuff mess up? winter+no heater=pissed off

not to mention i flushed the whole system 10 times at least before the coolant seal fix and it didnt fix ****. so i have no ac,powersteering, heater, and my engine sucks coolant. i think the only thing it does good is corner...........

If the coolant seals are gone, it could be drinking it, but it would certainly show other signs, visible coolant exiting the tailpipe, puddeling on the belly pan/ground, and could run pretty hot/bad.
What's the temp gauge showing?
How often do you have to refill coolant?

every other day i add a bit. im pretty sure i can smell burnt coolant but none ever comes out the mufflers. it runs fine....starts fine....but i dont know where else the coolant would go. any idea on the heater problem tho? id like a heater when its 20 degrees out

Is the return line warm coming from the heater core? (should be the hose coming from the fire wall to the radiator I think) If it is, then the flap across the heater core is stuck or your temp control is messed up. If it isn't, your heater core or a line is probally clogged.

ok i felt the hose from the block to the firewall. its warmish-hot but not as hot as the return hose to the radiator. so assuming it isnt hot enough, what would be the problem? assuming it is plenty hot enough, what could be the problem?
