Heat In The Car

The dealership told me my cat was but I passed inspection with flying colors but now all this heat is coming in the car through the shifter plate could it be my cats making this heat and can I slove it by going header and custom exhuast what mufflers would be good

uh, maybe the rubber shift boot is meesed up.. My Vert had the same problem so I went to the Junk Yard... got a good boot, from a Supra.. and made it fit.. Put the leather back on and Presto no more heat.. You could also get a brand new boot from Victioria British for a bout $50 or look on ebay.. I saw a couple of brand new ones last week

Oh so that heat is normal but I still want to go cat less with a header and yes my rubber boots dont line up right
